What P Wears… #4

I’ve had a little break from blogging due to many personal reasons, but i’m back and ready to share more of our life with you. I’m especially excited as now the weather is getting warmer to share P’s wardrobe. I love it, the key pieces in it and the shoes/sock combo. No more tights.

We’ve found a new independent shop that we absolutely love, that will definitely feature more in ‘what P wears’. Namely, Bella and Mr Tom. A local business ran by Sally, a charming and very talented lady. Her pieces are stunning, lots of choices of fabric, trims, buttons and knowing they are made 25 minutes away from our home gives them that super special feeling.

I myself went a did a full days sewing class and came away with my very own dress for P, which I am super proud of. Made using Lewis and Irene fabric, the perfect little party dress. I now 100% see why handmade is so expensive, the workmanship and care taken for each piece is one of a kind.

I have since purchased some beautiful dresses from Bella and Mr Tom, they really do make the perfect occasion dress but are also suitable for every day. Sally has lots of ready made stock available to order that are bespoke, her service is incredible and she can’t do enough to help you.

This beautiful dress, was a ready made item I bought from Bella and Mr Tom. It has an underwater themed bodice with puff sleeves and a sash. The dresses range between £30 and £40 and are worth every penny. All have the Bella and Mr Tom tag on and wash instructions.

I think because the dresses are so durable, wash really well and cope with everything we’ve thrown at them, mud, rain, climbing trees and a zip line to name a few its solidifies my love for dresses even more. Any occasion, anytime.

This is probably the dress that P loves the most. With a double frill sleeve, teamed with her Florence and Fred red/coral patent shoes its a summer staple that has room for growth. Again at £30 – £40 not the cheapest around but I love knowing that it’s bespoke and nobody else will have the same one.

Lastly, my favourite of all. A real summer dress. Sunglasses, seagulls, flip flops the works. This was a dress that I spied at the first workshop I did and couldn’t resist a few months later. I can’t wait for many more sunny days for this beauty to come out.

I would urge anyone to have a look at Bella and Mr Tom’s Facebook/Instagram page and contact Sally if you like what you see, I can assure you. You will not be disappointed.

NB; Bella and Mr Tom have not asked me to post this. All opinions are my own.
